Ringo is 8 years old and ll lbs. Looks like he’s been neglected for a lot of his years. The poor guy needs a foster desperately and one who can take him to the vet. He’s been on medication at the shelter and his skin is starting to improve. He probably had allergies, poor diet, and years of neglect. He was dumped by his owners for not having time for him. He will need TLC. Can you be his hero?
Update: He is a very timid and scared. He is scared of the outside world and even going on walks. He would prefer to be in a home with a yard because he’s not yet used to going outside. He will need someone patient to go slow with him and teach him that the outside world is safe. We hope to introduce him to the wold and others slowly. He is a very sweet boy once he trusts.
Wee wee pad trained for now. He does well with other dogs, in fact, he has learned from mine. He has not been crate trained. I have allowed him full roam of my house. I treat him just like I treat my own. I incorporate him in everything I do with my own two fur babies. He will pace and whine if he needs to go potty and you have not taken him. He gets fed twice a day. Breakfast at 8am, followed by his medications and dinner at 5pm, followed by his meds. I also put a diaper on him overnight. He gets scared at night sometimes, so this helps him not make a mess. Once he begins to trust you, he loves and enjoys being hugged and cradle. He will fall asleep in your arms, and this will tell you he loves and trust you.
