Cost of a cat*

I understand that the average cost of owning a healthy cat is a minimum $500 per year which include vetting, feeding, grooming, flea/tick treatments, dental care, and other miscellaneous costs (not counting vet emergencies). As the cat ages, I understand that these costs can significantly increase. I am prepared to make the financial and time commitment to my future cat for the duration of its life.
