Beatrice

Beatrice doesn’t have a mean bone in her body, and is such a snuggler. She took a few days after her exit from the shelter to sleep and recover, but is now showing us that she is curious and smart. Beatrice is sleeping well overnight in her crate, doing well with potty training, and has not been barking nor howling when left alone.

Beatrice is picking up on the leash very quickly, taking cues from the other dog in the home. She is starting to initiate play. She has not had any accidents in the home.

BEATRICE was confiscated by LA Animal Services, along with 7 other dogs, from a home with a history of both dog hoarding, and syllogomania. When confiscated Beatrice was so badly matted with feces you could not even tell what she looked like. She must have been in an extreme amount of pain, with dreadlocks hanging from her ears, face and tail. Beatrice was previously confiscated by the shelter but we do not know why the release her back to this owner without being spayed.
