Bootsie is a spunky Dachshund who is only 4 years young. She is fun and lively; full of confidence and pizazz! Bootsie does not have usage of her back legs, but it truly does not slow her down. As soon as Bootsie was fitted with a wheelchair, she has been on the go! The exercise is also helping her drop some pounds. Once she gets down to her 11-pound goal, there may be no stopping her. Bootsie loves special attention…and she’ll demand it if desired.

The ideal home for Bootsie would be one level since stairs will pose a danger. Bootsie requires bladder and bowel expressions. She’ll thrive with someone who understands her physical limitations yet sees Bootsie’s limitless capacity to love and entertain. This lady is an Olympic snuggler. Show her some love, and you’ll have a shadow and buddy for life.
