This young scruffy terrier boy is EVERYTHING you love about young scruffy terriers! Loads of silliness, tons of love to give.
We fell in love with him at the East Valley shelter where he was dumped by his former owner who decided he had too many dogs.
He’s such a love and needs a place to be the Champion he is! He truly is a dream. He loves snuggling and being with his person. Loves to be pet and picked up. He is dog and people friendly. Love’s walks, is good on the leash, playful and is fully house trained.
Champion does have a genetic defect to his esophagus and a cleft palate which affects him when he eats and drinks. For now, that just means he needs to always eat from a slow feeder bowl.
He also has a tiny bit of separation anxiety when left alone in his crate but calms after a while, and this is likely because he has been transferred between so many different foster homes and hasn’t been able to settle in.
