Charlie is a happy, playful chihuahua who is utterly terrified of new things. He settles easily and quickly into a new home and new routine but does not enjoy the process of meeting new people, or going new places. SOMETHING happened to him and he’s 1000% afraid of change. Sometimes he snaps out of fear
Charlie bonds with one human and one human only. If you live alone and are looking for a dog to foster than you might be the right person for him.
Fully house-trained & can use a dog door, knows basic commands, eats well and sleeps quietly through the night. He has some fear-based leash reactivity and would prefer to walk at a time or place where he won’t run into a lot of other dogs or people, especially big dogs or men.
We recommend that Charlie be in a home with an adult. Absolutely no kids. He needs someone with patience to take things at his pace so as not to overwhelm him. He likes to have choice.
