This stubby, short-legged cutie was turned into the shelter as a stray. He seems to be very playful and high-energy and wants to go for a run so getting off the extra weight should be easy peasy. So far he seems to be good with other dogs.
Foster update: Cliff is a very sweet and friendly boy and is just a bit shy initially when introduced to new people, he loves going on walks and the company of his person. It took him a while to open up as it often does with dogs coming out of a traumatic shelter experience. He doesn’t love sleeping in his crate and shows some separation anxiety when left alone in it. All in all he’s a sweet, good boy.
We don’t know how Cliff is with children. We suggest no young children at this time.
Foster update 2: Cliff has already grown in our hearts. He definitely needs someone who loves to run because he definitely gets out heart rates up! Although he has separation anxiety, he does so well with lovel. My boyfriend (who has never had a dog) realized how amazing a dog can be to help the people around them.
