Cooper comes to us from Iran. He was found living on the streets by himself when he was very young. He survived because he is very smart.
Here’s what his Iranian rescuer says about Cooper: Cooper is good with other dogs. He doesn’t show his feelings a lot, but he loves a belly rub and his favorite thing is to do is to fall asleep in our arms or next to us. He is shy with new people but makes everyone love him.
Foster update: Very shy, but very comfortable with his people. Playful, LOVES toys, LOVES his bed. A little silly, likes to pull things off table but casually drops when you say uh-uh. He is playing. Low key, loves belly rubs and stretching and lounging. Understands correction, very mindful and aware. Very comfortable and relaxed in the home. Not bothered by other dogs, noises or movement unless strangers. Outside he is quite frightened. He would do better in a home with a yard where he can learn to relax outside.
