Finch is good with other dogs and people. He needs some love.Finch is a sweet boy with his humans and trusts after a short while. He is very eager to please and is loving and affectionate. Has great eye contact and looks for approval from his human. Finch is an escape artist so he has to be in a secure yard and leashed when the front door is open.
Finch is ready for a foster home and forever home.
Finch is a sweet little guy who wants to please his humans. he is mostly content hanging out solo and would make a good dog for someone who works out of the house. He can easily entertain himself by hanging out quietly in the back yard minding his own business, or taking himself to his crate for his afternoon walks.
Finch lights up when it’s time for a walk and turns into a different dog, full of energy and liveliness. He pants with excitement and sprints like a cartoon character. While encountering other dogs and cats he seems oblivious to them out of the simple excitement of being outdoors. He’s great on a leash and has plenty of energy for long walks.
An ideal household for Finch is one where there are other mellow dogs, or as an only dog. if there is a cat in the household, they must be fairly confident.
Finch can be vocal in a home where there is a lot of commotion of people coming in and out. Especially at first. He is not a loud barker, but can be vocal but it doesn’t last long.
