This little lady came into this world carrying a heavy past, but don’t let that fool you — Iris is blossoming into the most loving, wiggly, kiss-giving sweetheart you’ve ever met!
Coming from a tough hoarding situation, Iris could have given up on people entirely… but she didn’t. This brave girl chose love anyway, and every single day she’s proving just how resilient and magical she truly is.
Iris is still learning the ropes of home life — potty training is a work in progress, and she’s taking her time warming up to new sounds and touches. She can get a little spooked if approached too fast, so she’s looking for a patient, gentle human who will let her set the pace. Go slow, earn her trust, and she will reward you endlessly — we’re talking zoomies on the grass, serenading you with songs of her people, and so. many. kisses.
She is absolutely obsessed with her foster dog brother, loves treats, adores cream cheese, and will shamelessly paw at you the moment you stop petting her. Rude? Maybe. Adorable? Completely. She’ll cuddle up right next to you in bed, chew her toys with the gentlest little mouth, squirm her way into your lap faster than you can blink, and wag that impossibly cute curly tail like you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to her. Because to Iris? You will be.
Iris needs: Patience, gentleness, ideally a dog sibling, and someone who won’t mind being pawed, kissed, and loved on relentlessly. She came from so little — and she still chose to love. Now she just needs someone to choose her back.
