Jake

Requirements: No kids

Jake is a gentle soul but has some issues with new people. He will growl and try to nip IF you push too quickly–just give him some time though. He is extremely treat motivated and with patience and space he opens up quickly and will become one of the sweetest and loving dogs you’ll ever meet. It does take him some extra time with men but again he does open up fast. Watch out though, his fun loving personality and bouncy behavior can easily trick you but he thrives on routine, structure and boundaries or he will easily take over his person and become more assertive. Although Jake is fearful at first he thrives off of positive reinforcement and is so eager to please once he trusts you. He is good with other dogs that like to play but aren’t too high energy and he will bond well with the dogs he likes and becomes a little protective of his friends to other new dogs that come on too strong. Jake is house trained and crate trained.
