King is a very timid dog. When found as a stray on the street he was terrified and nipped the person who picked him up. That landed him in quarantine. He had no bite incidents in the shelter however he was bordering on feral when we rescued him and would run from any human contact. He is not leash trained (good luck getting a leash on him) and needs a very patient adopter with a secure yard to slowly walk him through the stages of being a companion animal. He is sweet and likes to be held by people who have earned his trust. He is not snappy – just very scared.
