Requirements: No kids, calm environment, no playful or high energy dogs.

Linus is a very sweet senior boy that still has some pep in his step! This sweet boy is ready to find his forever home. He loves going on walks and even tries to run on occasion. He is very calm and easy going guy but he does have some separation anxiety when left alone so prefers a home with someone who us around often. Linus does fine with other dogs as long as they aren’t too playful or high energy. He would prefer to be the only dog or live with a dog that is an old soul like him and able to coexist. Linus is a love bug and it just takes him some time to get used to his environment and people so patience will need to be given in the first few days, but he is super treat motivated so it’s easy to win him over.

Linus is housetrained if taken out regularly but does require some patience in the beginning as he adjusts. Despite his vision/eye issues he actually does ok going up and down flights of stairs. He can be picky with some people and nippy if they approach too quickly likely due to his vision issues (he has cataracts and is nearly blind). When he’s asleep he prefers not to be bothered and will get snappy if someone wakes him up (same here Linus!).

Linus does have some medical issues that are common occurrences in older dogs. He has a grade 1/2 heart murmur, but it does not affect him at all, this just needs monitoring. He is currently on eye meds too that he will likely be on long term. Can you be this adorable sweet boys happily ever after?
