Mila is severely underweight. She should be 30 to 40 lbs. One of our volunteers was able to get this dog released from her owner in South LA who was keeping her in a backyard and obviously severely neglecting her. This kind of weight loss does not happen overnight. She is currently a bit lethargic and eating small amounts. She does not like it when other dogs get too close to her right now. She seems fine with people touching her.
