Molly has been doing a great job getting more socialized with her foster family and she has now conquered her fears and isn’t timid or fearful when meeting new people like she used to be! She actually gets very excited and loves the attention! She has even learned to be around other dogs and has made plenty of doggy friends, although she can still be dog selective at times. It seems that she prefers friendly, outgoing, confident dogs over the more timid ones or ones that come on too strong. It’s possible that Molly can live with another dog if it’s a good match and proper introductions are made but she will need boundaries in a new household if there is another dog so her future owner will need to have patience and understanding of this while she is being acclimated.
Once Molly opens up she will love you to the ends of the earth, so she does have some separation anxiety and needs someone around often. She can be very high energy and requires a lot of exercise so she would be perfect for an active person that loves running and hiking. She is very athletic and loves doing zoomies, fetch and tug of war too.
She is a flight risk so special care needs to be taken with doors and yards to ensure she is VERY secure. She does well in her crate at night, but prefers to be her persons Shadow. She is not really interested in interacting with other dogs and loves chasing small animals so she should be the only pet in the home. She will do best in a small household that is calm and keeps things low key.
