Russ

Russ is a 7lb, tiny but mighty Chi Mix. He’s such a quiet & sweet boy! He warms up quickly to people, as he just wants to be taken care of and be kept safe. His favorite pastime is napping and relaxing. He’s fairly easygoing and is discovering what it feels like to be in a warm, cozy and loving home. He has little spurts of energy but is mostly calm and mellow (more of a lap dog). He LOVES to burrow into blankets…it’s a little luxury that he enjoys so extra blankets are a must!! Currently he doesn’t have much interest in toys. He’s good with other dogs around, as he simply minds his business. But if his nap time is disturbed, he may slightly growl as to communicate “Hey I’m tired, space please!”. When he wants your attention, he lets out a random & quiet bark. He also loves head rubs, hugs and scratches. He walks well on a leash and doesn’t tug. He has identified the potty pad & is working on going potty during walks. Because he was rescued from a hoarding situation, he isn’t a fan of loud noises so he prefers a quiet home that isn’t loud and that brings him peace of mind. Anyone would be so lucky to have this gentle boy!
