Foster

Do you have room for a four legged guest? We are actively seeking volunteers to foster dogs and save them from the over-crowded shelters. Every dog we get out of the pound saves a dog from being put down.

You provide: the home and the love
We provide: the food, bedding, toys, collar & leash,  medical care and plenty of support. (Check out our hand book. It provides great information for fostering, and you can apply it to your own dogs)

Foster commitments – We ask that you commit to a minimum of 2 weeks fostering. If we must find alternate housing, we ask for a 24 hour notice to find a safe alternative.
Adoption events – We hold adoption fairs every month (except holidays). We’ll let you know when and where to drop off your guest, and when to pick them up (if they don’t get adopted). You do not need to stay for the duration of the fair.

Foster requirements

• Adequate schedule where the dog is not left alone for long periods at a time.
• Our dogs must be housed indoors (during the day and night). Of course they are welcome to play and sun themselves in your secure, well-fenced yard.
• A safe environment where there are no potential hazards or escape routes.
