Your act of kindness can save a dog’s life
GivingTuesday is a global day of generosity that will take place on December 1, 2020.
We have been spending about $12,000 a MONTH on medical bills for our recent rescues.
Long gone are the days of easy, hypoallergenic puppies.
We’re in the weeds now with dogs who urgently needed rescuing from their dire circumstances and a real second chance at a new life. Every dollar donated makes an impact.
From complicated spays and neuters to help reduce the pet population, tumour removal, extensive dentals for both mouth, and heart health, leg surgeries, MRIs to diagnose neurological or spinal issues, and more, these dogs are so lucky to have the support of people like you to ensure that they can move into their new forever homes with a healthy lease on life.
Since MARCH when the pandemic shut downs changed the face of rescue we have taken in 234 dogs (and a couple of cats, and one pig!) but our medical bills have been through the roof. Our adoption fees are our main source of rescue funds. With fewer adoptable animals that’s a lot less money to go around. We urgently need your support, now more than ever, to make sure that these dogs are never abandoned nor left to suffer again.
Your donations are tax-deductible.
