This volunteer position is a key role that directly affects the rescuing of dogs, getting them seen at adoption fairs, and to vet appointments on occasion. This is a virtual role that requires attention on a daily basis to keep track of where dogs need to go and when, while reaching out to prospective transporters to arrange pick-ups, drop-offs, and supplies needed, if any. Transport set-up are requested at least 1 or 2 times per week.

We would love a weekly transporters to pick up newly rescued dogs from our headquarters in Encino and take them to a vet visit. This may be for 2-3 dogs at a time, preferably on a weekday during daytime hours.

We are seeking an individual(s) to reach out to corporations on a regular basis to secure sponsorship in way of donated funds or donated goods (if products produced match our needs), and forge regular relations with different corps- local and national.

Previous grant-writing experience preferred. Help us rescue more dogs by writing grants for financial support. This is a crucial part of our organization and to our survival

Each week we send at least two blasts of dogs needing fosters via Mailchimp.  Monday mornings are especially crucial as this is when we pull dogs. The information of newly pulled dogs will arrive around 9am and we hope the email blast can be ready to send out by noon. It’s a pretty easy to use system where you just plug photos and write descriptions of our dogs needing fosters. It takes about 2 hours per week.
