Fern

Fern is a truly special little lady. She is quiet and dignified and incredibly sweet. She doesn’t bark or bite and really just wants to be pet and taken on walks so she can sniff flowers and relax in the sun. She’s slowly getting her appetite up – she loves freeze dried chicken and chicken broth, occasionally some licks of peanut butter and little bits of cheese. She will eat kibble if you hand feed her it piece by piece but I assume she will eat from a bowl if left alone to enjoy at her own pace. She is learning to walk on a leash REALLY quickly and would make a great companion for someone who enjoys going on leisurely strolls. Although she is not totally potty trained, she’s very good about peeing outside. She is a curious little piglet and when left alone will explore her environment by jumping up on the couch or your desk if you bring her to work. She loves relaxing in her pink little bed and does well with other gentle dogs. She sleeps a lot and needs a quiet environment with someone who can give her space when she wants it, and lots of love when she’s comfortable with you. She is the perfect little dog!
